I never got political but lately I think we Americans are in serious trouble and congress and the senate are the problem and they won’t fix anything because it doesn’t benefit them to do this so we have to, I am posting some points here that I believe will help, if you agree pass it on!!!!

Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

_*Congressional Reform Act of 2011*_

1. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they’re out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.

Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Don’t you think it’s time?

Summer is finally Here!

I hope you are all having a great summer this year, we all deserve it.

I have been spending my summer designing some new products to introduce. One of the best designs I have come up with is my peace and love collection.  One of my new pieces is an adjustable bracelet with a Turquoise peace sign that will fit anyones wrist, or you can extend it out to fit any ankle.  What a great way to advertise you thoughts on peace and show the world how you feel about it

. I have combined the Turquoise which is for helping to start new projects with Amethyst to ease your stress, Yellow Jade for long life and Carnelian to give you the strength to carry on.

I plan to go forward with my peace and love collection into the fall and I will have a whole collection of peace signs in all stone choices for you and  at  all price points.  As soon as I get more designs ready I will post them here and on Facebook for you to see.

Westwood in the Park

I want to thank all my customers for coming out and supporting us on Sunday at the Westwood  craft show in the park.  Although the day was cloudy and cool, we had a great crowd.

I was very pleased that a lot of adjustable bracelets were sold for graduation gifts.  I loved that people took the time to read the stone chart to pick out a stone that they thought was appropriate for the person they were buying for.

I always feel that if you buy a piece of jewelry with a reason attached to it, the person who recieved it will love that you took the time to really think of them.  The most popular stone was Turquoise because it helps with new projects and most of the gifts were for students that were starting new lives after they graduated from school.

I want to wish everyone a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend and the weather is supposed to be good so enjoy yourself and we will see you the following weekend  June 4th and 5th at the Chester Craft show, in Chester, NJ.  It’s a great show and lots of interesting vendors so come on out there I know you will enjoy the show!!!

The art of Accessorizing

If you want to get noticed these days, you need to create attention for yourself or be able to distract other people’s eyes to where you want them to look and not to where you don’t.

You can create attention by wearing a great piece of jewelry around your neck or in your ears and create distraction by getting their eyes up to your neck. The next place they will  notice is your  eyes.   If you can get someone to look into your eyes,  you know they are paying  attention and showing you respect.

I find that when you wear the same piece of jewelry all the time,  it not longer creates distraction and then people’s eyes wander and you have lost their attention.

For some reason gold and diamonds  don’t get a  lot of comments  but stones and crystals do.  In my experience, if I wear a necklace or earrings that are made from stones or crystals or both,  I  find I am more likely to get comments about how I look then when I wear my gold necklace and diamond earrings.

I love that stones carry healing properties, it always make me feel better when I wear a stone that will help me thru the day and at the same time make me look good so we have included a stone chart for you on our home page.  It can be downloaded by just clicking on it.
